Scott Rousseau's staging was nothing short of a miracle! And even with all of the intricate staging, costume changes and the myriad of props coming and going, the pace stayed brisk and the show flowed smoothly! Great cast and a prime example of very creative and effective directing! Congrats to all involved!
"If you haven’t seen Baskerville at Merely Players in Doraville GO SEE IT. If you’re a Director, go see it for the staging of it. It was brilliant I was wide eyed and mouth dropped open 99% of the time. Scott Rousseau’s direction is actually a lesson in staging. The show is beautiful. The costumes flawless. I am still not sure how many people were in the show. That’s how many times costumes and wigs got changed …I couldn’t keep up. It was like a troop of 20 but I think there was only eight people? I love the sound design it was so different than what you would expect the play to actually call for. You just have to see it. I loved it . Nancy Lowery Powell is a goddess and we are lucky to have her on any stage in Atlanta. The entire cast deserves major kudos. Merely players is really producing excellent work and if you haven’t checked them out, you should."
